The Future of Mechanistic Modeling in the Age of AI

I was lucky to attend the conference Finding Your Inner Modeler: “The Future of Mechanistic Modeling in the Age of AI”.

These are the people the metapage platform is aimed at: those solving hard, complex problems at the intersection of data, math, visualization, who need better tools to communicate and collaborate.

But it’s hard to share the code and workflows in a way where you can speak in models and simulations

Speed

During two talks, I looked up the code respositories, and containerized the code, added basic visualization (if it was simple to do), and made the workflows public, availalble for anyone to quickly get started, or incorporate the code immediately to their own workflows.

Each took about 15 minutes, and that’s time that no-one else now has to pay, and these are now available to everyone, forever.
